China confirms FMD in Tibet

The National Foot-and-Mouth Disease Reference Laboratory on Monday confirmed the cases as type A foot-and-mouth disease.

Foot-and-mouth disease infections have been confirmed in cattle in southwest China's Tibet Autonomous Region.

A total of 32 head of cattle showed suspected signs of the disease, according to the OIE. The outbreak is located in Kare Village, Rikaze.

The National Foot-and-Mouth Disease Reference Laboratory on Monday confirmed the cases as type A foot-and-mouth disease.
