The Chilean Minister of Agriculture, José Antonio Galilea, announced on Monday the opening of the Chinese market to pork and prunes, and the opening of the Indian market to poultry and pork.

Opening India’s market to poultry and pork was reached in a record time of 9 months. In the case of China, exportation of poultry has been authorized since 2006. This year, the negotiations for the certification and habilitation of swine slaughterhouses have been finalized, allowing for shipment of said products within a short period of time.
