Since last July, the CIAS (Fowl and Swine Intelligence Agency), which is linked to the Brazilian Ministry of Agriculture, and that is part of the EMBRAPA (Brazilian Agricultural Investigation Corporation), offers monthly in its webpage the swine production costs for all its production stages.
The production cost in R$ (reais) is available for 11 swine producing Brazilian states (Ceará, Espírito Santo, Goiás, Mato Grosso, Mato Grosso do Sul, Minas Gerais, Paraná, Pernambuco, Rio Grande do Sul, Santa Catarina and São Paulo).
