Brazil continues to lead soybean exports. Sales are driven by strong global demand, especially from China. According to Cepea, despite pressure from ample domestic supply, currency devaluation, and declining domestic prices, the strong export performance has sustained the sector's revenue.
In April, Brazil exported 16.75 million tons of soybeans, a record for the Secex series, representing increases of 15.35% compared to March and 9.6% compared to the same month in 2025.

Shipments to China, specifically, increased by 17.6% from March to April. In the cumulative period from January to April, external sales totaled 40.24 million tons, also the highest volume ever recorded for the period.
