The Brazilian Ministry for Agriculture anticipates that by 2020 the national production of meat should supply 44.5% of the worldwide market.

For the period 2019/2020 the Brazilian participation in world meat exports of beef, chicken and pig meat will 37.4% compared to the current level of 25% while the participation of pig meat will increase from 12.4% to 14.2% and that of chicken from 41.4% to 48.1%.
