Initially, there were 39 farms within the infected area (20-km perimeter); however, following the publication of the regionalization by the European Commission, this number rose to 55, as the total area of the affected municipalities was included and not just the farms within the 20-km radius.

While on November 30, it was reported that the 39 farms had tested negative, on December 10, the Department of Agriculture confirmed that the remaining 16 farms had also tested negative.

Repeated tests on the first impacted farms also continue to show negative results.

Twelve days after the outbreak was declared, the number of positive cases remains at 13, all located within the established affected area, which is promising in terms of achieving the priority objective: containing the virus within the initial perimeter.
