The Ministry of Agroindustry, through its production and international markets areas, is working towards a higher competitiveness of the Argentinian food products. In this sense, and after several trade missions between both countries and thanks to the public and private work, this Wednesday the first shipping to Russia of 27,000 kilos of half carcasses of pigs will be carried out.

The company Industrias Toledo, under the brand Toledo Pork Meat, from the town of Coronel Vidal, in the province of Buenos Aires, will ship the first container to the Vladivostok harbour. The half carcasses will be used in different Food Service business channels (supply to restaurants, distributors and industries).

It is important to highlight that this export adds to the one made on the second week of May (frozen boneless beef to the Philippines), that reflects the public and private work that has been carried out since December 2015.
