As of December livestock producers exporting to the European Union will have to use the mandatory Book of Veterinary Treatments Records applied to animals whose products are intended for human consumption, on the effective date of Resolution 666/2011 from the National Health and Food Quality Service (Senasa).
Also, by March 2013 the mandate will reach as the rest of the country's livestock farms. Its aim is that medications for livestock not alter food safety.
