The initiative, presented during Conacca's Extraordinary National Assembly to representatives from the National Network of Central Supply Centers from 10 Latin American countries, focuses on direct linkage between small and medium-sized producers and wholesale markets, reducing intermediation and facilitating access to more profitable marketing channels.
Among the main objectives is the formalization of at least 800 direct trade agreements in 2025 for small-scale producers, mainly linked to the Cosechando Soberanía program (Harvesting Sovereignty).

The agreement also includes measures to strengthen producers' technical and productive capacities, their integration as reliable suppliers, and access to preferential financing for production with commercial backing. In addition, actions will be implemented to certify warehouses under Good Plant Manufacturing Practices, with the support of the National Agrifood Health, Safety and Quality Service (Senasica), in 16 of the country's supply centers, together with the opening of free spaces for direct food sales.
Senasica highlighted the importance of this alliance that will benefit producers, marketers, and consumers, since incorporating safety criteria in all stages of the production chain is a key step to ensure safe, quality food for the entire population.
This alliance is part of Mexico's plan to move towards greater food self-sufficiency and sustainability (Plan México del Segundo Piso de la Cuarta Transformación).
