Per Pedersen lives in the North of Jutland, Denmark and has more than 25 years’ experience in a variety of roles related to pig farming and animal nutrition. Joining Tonisity, he will be responsible for commercial activities in Scandinavia and assist the Tonisity team in Eastern Europe. Per operated his own pig farms for several years and later on joined an animal feed company, which specialises in customised pre-mixes for farm-made feed and high-quality weaning feed, with its main focus being on improving the outcome of the farms.

“Tonisity is a company I have been aware of for some time,” said Pedersen, “their disruptive technology, in using isotonic protein drinks as a targeted feeding approach to feed the intestine of small pigs, leads to long-term benefits for the pigs, across all birth weights. I am looking forward to working with producers, to highlight the variety of benefits, maximise this opportunity and generate a profitable return of investment for them.”

“We are excited to have Per join our team. He brings a wide range of knowledge and experience to the role and will be an asset for us in delivering our sales strategy in Scandinavia,” said Mathieu Cortyl, Managing Director for Europe and Asia at Tonisity.
