After six months of activity, the French company Animine will already sponsor an international symposium. The supplier of value added sources of trace minerals has known a rapid growth in Europe, Asia and North America thanks to an effective network of distributors. Animine will sponsor the 62nd Annual Meeting of the European Association of Animal Production (www.eaap2011.com), which will take place in Stavanger (Norway) from the 29th of August to the 2nd of September. The main theme of the meeting will be “The importance of animal production for food supply, food quality and environment”. Animine will communicate at the EAAP Meeting some experimental data on ZinPot, an innovative source of zinc for piglet feeding. A recent trial from the University of Berlin showed the significantly higher growth repressing effect on pathogenic strains of Escherichia coli of ZinPot compared to a standard zinc oxide product.
