Salvador Calvet

Salva Calvet is an agricultural engineer and professor in the Department of Animal Science at the Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV). His research focuses on livestock farming and the environment, using digital technologies. He works on both competitive research projects and contracts with companies and government agencies. His most recent research focuses on the use of precision livestock farming applied to the environmental and productive control of various species. He has published more than 60 articles in influential international journals and regularly participates in national and international conferences in his field of study. From 2017 to 2022, he was coordinator of the REMEDIA Network (Scientific network for climate change mitigation in the agroforestry sector). He collaborates with researchers from leading national and international centers in the field of livestock farming and the environment.
