Anja Keiner

Dr. Anja Keiner graduated from University of Gießen, Germany in 2015. She holds a PhD in animal nutrition exploring the effects of polyphenol-rich feed additives on nutrient digestibility, intestinal microbiota, and gut health in weaned piglets.

She began her professional journey at Delacon Biotechnik GmbH, an Austrian company producing phytogenic feed additives. There she held positions ranging from Area Sales Manager to Global Technical Manager for Swine, where she led product ownership for additive applied in piglets and sows and provided technical support and training across global markets.

Since May 2023, she works as Category Lead for additives focusing on gut health and performance in swine at Cargill, where she manages the additive portfolio and supports commercial teams and customers across the region. Her work is driven by a passion for additives and a commitment to delivering practical, science-based solutions in animal nutrition.
