The "feed cost per Kg of weight gain" is the cost for concept of feed in this farm study. This farm have a F:C of 2.9 and the cost of feed is $0,25/kg, so the costo of feed per kg of pig is $0,25X2.9= $0,725
If the difference of is 0.03 points of F:C in farm without pneumonia, the loss per kg produced is 0.03 x $0.25= $0,0075 ($0.75 in a pig with 100 kg of weight).
