• January 1, 2000 – December 31, 2021: Veterinary Director of the IZS Umbria e Marche. He was the director of the National Reference Centre for the study of retroviruses related to infectious diseases of ruminants and head of the national reference laboratory for swine fever.
• Since January 1, 2022: Director of the Joint Operational Unit of the National Reference Centres at the IZS Umbria e Marche.
