Held in the Anhembi District, the event brought together more than 10,000 participants and 230 exhibitors from 17 countries. It has established itself as a strategic platform for exchanging knowledge, exhibiting innovative technologies, and generating business in the animal nutrition, pet food, animal recycling, biodiesel, and oils and fats sectors.

A technical and commercial hub

Organized by the CBNA, the event included a series of specialized technical congresses:

  • 35th CBNA Annual Meeting: Focused on animal nutrition strategies to face the challenges of climate change, addressing topics such as heat stress, communication between environmentalists and producers, and efficient nutrition.
  • V Workshop on Nutrition in Aquaculture: Delved into key aspects such as sustainability, biosecurity, and strategies for reducing the carbon footprint of modern aquaculture production.
  • VIII Workshop on Nutrition and Nutrology of Dogs and Cats: Developed in collaboration with SBNutriPet, this meeting addressed practical aspects of diet formulation, obesity management, and the role of vitamins and fiber in pet health.
  • XXIV CBNA PET Congress: Held on May 14 and 15, this congress focused on sustainability applied to pet food formulation, the conscious use of alternative ingredients, and technological advances in extrusion processes.

FENAGRA: innovation and business at the heart of the agribusiness industry

FENAGRA 2025, in its 18th edition, consolidated its position as the main trade fair for the animal nutrition sector in Latin America. The event integrated six major strategic sectors: animal recycling, Expo Pet Food, Expo Aqua Feed, Expo Animal Feed, Expo Oils & Fats and biodiesel, offering a comprehensive view of the production chain.

The main topics discussed reflected the challenges and opportunities of a constantly evolving industry:

  1. Sustainability and circular economy: Implementation of alternative ingredients, use of animal recycling by-products, and development of strategies to reduce the environmental impact of animal production.
  2. Health and animal welfare: Advanced nutritional strategies to improve digestibility, enhance immune response, and optimize welfare in both companion and production animals.
  3. Technology and innovation: Significant advances in extrusion techniques, encapsulation systems, application of big data analysis in formulations, and development of integral traceability systems.

CBNA and FENAGRA 2025 reaffirmed their position as fundamental platforms for technical updates, innovation, and networking for the Latin American animal nutrition industry. The participation of internationally renowned experts, the exhibition of cutting-edge technological solutions, and the in-depth debate on future trends in the sector made this edition an indisputable reference for professionals in the area.
