The review and evaluation of the application for bilateral recognition of regionalization for African swine fever (ASF), completed by the Philippines Bureau of Animal Industry, concluded that Poland maintains sufficient veterinary oversight and has established necessary control and mitigating measures against ASF ensuring that there is a low risk of importing swine products and by-products, including meat from identified proposed zones for recognition.
All import transactions shall be in accordance with the bilaterally agreed import terms and conditions on regionalization, according to the Department of Agriculture (DA) Administrative Circular No. 12, series of 2025, which provides guidelines on the Bilateral Recognition on Regionalization of ASF from its Accredited countries for export of swine and/ or their products, and by-products, including meat.
