The Brazilian government concluded ten negotiations this week in the agricultural sector with six trading partners: the Bahamas, Cameroon, South Korea, Costa Rica, Japan, and Peru. The new authorizations cover various products, such as beef, pork, poultry and poultry products, bovine genetic material, poultry genetic material, fish oil, and corn ethanol products.
In the Bahamas, local authorities approved a sanitary certificate allowing Brazil to export beef, pork, poultry, and related products. This opening reflects the high confidence in the Brazilian sanitary control system and could contribute to Bahamian food security.

In Cameroon, local authorities approved the export of live cattle for breeding and bovine genetic material from Brazil, while for South Korea, local authorities authorized the export of poultry genetic material (fertile eggs and day-old chicks). In Costa Rica, local authorities have authorized Brazilian exports of distillers dried grains (DDG and DDGS).
