Agricultural, fishing, food and forestry exports during the August 2015 – July 2015 period have kept their upward trend, and products were sold in the foreing markets amounting €42,637 million: 5.6% higher than during the previous period (August 2013 – July 2014), whilst the value of the imports was €32,432 million: 6.30% more than during the aforementioned period. So, the interannual balance is €10,204 million, with an improvement by 3.42% in comparison with the previous period.

In this way, the agrifood and fishing sectors share in the whole of the Spanish foreign trade during the last twelve months between August 2014 and July 2015 entailed 17.2% of the exports.

In the analysis by subsectors, it can be seen that the agrifood non-processed products subsector is the one with the highest positive contribution to the exports, with an improvement by 11.7% in July 2015 in comparison with July 2014, this being mainly due to the exports of pork, peaches, watermelons and melons.

Within the agrifood processed products subsector, the most exported products were olive oil and wine, although both products reduce their value by 8.2% and 2.8%, respectively.
