Poland: First ASF case in the Lodz province

At the end of May, African swine fever was confirmed in a wild boar carcass found in Lodz province. This is the first case in this province.

The wild boar was found near the border with the Mazovian Voivodeship, in the municipality of Białaczów, village of Kuraszków. The animal was young, about six months old. The carcass was sent for disposal.
