Monthly pork production in the first half of 2025, annual variations. Prepared by 333 Latin America with data from the Secretariat of Agriculture, Livestock, and Fisheries of the Ministry of Economy of Argentina.
Pork production in the first half of 2025 reached 383,529 tons, representing an increase of 0.6% over the same period in 2024.
Specifically, in June, 66,530 tons were recorded, representing a 2.4% increase compared to the same month last year and a 4.7% decrease compared to May.
The average pig carcass in June weighed 98 kg with bone, which is similar to the same month last year and was 1 kg above the average for May. Meanwhile, the castrated males and immunocastrated entire male categories recorded weights of 97 and 102 kg, respectively.
