Pork production in the first half of 2025 reached 383,529 tons, representing an increase of 0.6% over the same period in 2024.

Specifically, in June, 66,530 tons were recorded, representing a 2.4% increase compared to the same month last year and a 4.7% decrease compared to May.
The average pig carcass in June weighed 98 kg with bone, which is similar to the same month last year and was 1 kg above the average for May. Meanwhile, the castrated males and immunocastrated entire male categories recorded weights of 97 and 102 kg, respectively.
