The Ministry of Agriculture, Stockbreeding, Rural Development, Fisheries and Food (SAGARPA) published today, in the Official Journal of the Federation (DOF), the agreement by which the state of San Luis Potosí is declared free of Aujeszky's disease.

This declaration, signed by the principal of the SAGARPA, Mr. Enrique Martínez y Martínez, has a positive impact on the promotion of the state's pig production, which is worth 429 million pesos, by making it more profitable and competitive, because it favours the commercialisation of pigs from this region, as well as that of its products and byproducts.
