Exports

- At the end of the first four months of 2025, pork exports fell by 18.3% compared to the same period in 2024, going from 66,719 to 54,510 tons (t).
- The total value exported (USD 264.9 million) decreased by 3.9%, and the average export price was USD 4,860/t, an increase of 17.6% compared to the average of USD 4,133/t recorded in the same period of the previous year.
Imports
- Cumulative pork imports in the first four months of the year totaled 608,407 t, an increase of 10.5% compared to the same period in 2024.
- The total value of imports reached USD 1,282.9 million, with an implicit price of USD 2,109/t, an increase of 4.2% over the average recorded in the same period of the previous year (USD 2,023/t).
