The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of the Republic of China and the State Technical University of the People's Republic of China signed a protocol regulating the requirements for inspection, quarantine and safety of pork, allowing Kazakhstan to be able to export to China.
Previously pork from Kazakhstan was not supplied to the Chinese market, and not a single Kazakh enterprise was allowed to export pork to China. The new protocol opens opportunities for the supply of pork, including not only frozen and chilled meat, but also offal, as well as heat-treated products.

The signing of the document creates new prospects for the development of bilateral trade and will contribute to the strengthening of the Kazakh pig farming and the processing industry. The expansion of exports will allow increased employment and support the development of rural areas.
