Germany – Downward trend in pork exportations

The average amount of pork exported by Germany during the first four months of this year has decreased compared with the same period last year.

The average amount of pork exported by Germany during the first four months of this year has decreased compared with the same period last year.

The total volume of exportations fell by 5,3%, with an 8% decrease in the EU and a 2,6% increase in third party countries. The greatest increase was seen in exportations to China, with an increase of over 11.000 tons, and percentage wise the greatest increase was to South Korea. On the other hand, the greatest decrease in tons was seen in exportations to Italy (9.700 tons less) and percentage wise to the UK (18,9% less).
