Dominican Republic: prevention of foodborne diseases

The Ministry of Agriculture has trained a critical mass of technicians that from now on will be able to perform food risk analyses on plant and animal foods.

Due to its interest in producing and providing the population with healthy and harmless products that contribute to the prevention of foodborne diseases, the Ministry of Agriculture has trained a critical mass of technicians that from now on will be able to perform food risk analyses on plant and animal foods.

Through its Project Execution Office (OEP), the Ministry of Agriculture held the conference “Need for the Risk Analysis for Food Harmlessness in Dominican Republic”, aimed to the staff of the Food Harmlessness Department and the Risk Analysis Division, the Ministry of Agriculture and other institutions that have to do with food.
