Danish Crown has responded affirmatively to the claims brought forth by the Climate Movement in Denmark and the Danish Vegetarian Association in a case concerning the use of the specific expressions "Climate-controlled pig" and "Danish pig is more climate-friendly than you think."

Danish Crown concedes that its prior utilization of these statements did not meet the standards outlined in marketing legislation. Consequently, the company has agreed to discontinue the use of these expressions in any future marketing endeavors, as stipulated by the court.

Since retracting the campaign in 2021, Danish Crown has affirmed its commitment to refraining from the aforementioned expressions in product marketing. Consequently, the company accepts the plaintiffs' assertions that these promotions breached marketing laws.

Danish Crown remains dedicated to promoting its climate actions while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, as evidenced by its response to the plaintiffs' claims and commitment to environmentally responsible practices.
