Chile - Meat consumption on the rise

During 2010 the average per capita consumption of meat in Chile reached 71,8 kilos, equaling an increase of 3,5 kilos (5%) more than in 2009.

During 2010 the average per capita consumption of meat in Chile reached 71,8 kilos, equaling an increase of 3,5 kilos (5%) more than in 2009.

Chicken consumption increased the most, with 2,1 kg more per capita in comparison with 2009, followed by beef with an increase of 0,9 kg and pork with 0,6 kg.
