Since January 2019, more than 700 establishments have been authorized to export agricultural products to 24 countries.

Early last week, four poultry and one pig slaughterhouse were approved and will begin selling Brazilian meat to Vietnam. The new pig slaughterhouse that will be able to export to Vietnam is located in Minas Gerais.

Since January 2019, Brazil has opened 65 new markets for its agricultural products, with 30 openings registered this year alone. Early last month, the government of the Philippines approved beef establishments (Goiás, São Paulo, Mato Grosso, Mato Grosso do Sul, Rondônia, Minas Gerais, Tocantins and Pará), poultry (Paraná, Santa Catarina and Rio Grande do Sul), turkey (Rio Grande do Sul) and pork establishments (Santa Catarina).

Agribusiness exports reached record levels in April, exceeding the $10 billion mark for the first time in April. The previous record for foreign sales in April occurred in 2013, when exports totaled US$ 9.65 billion.
