Brazil has reached an important milestone: the authorization of 46 establishments to export poultry and pork meal to China. This approval represents a concrete step forward in trade relations with the Brazilian agricultural sector's main partner and opens up new opportunities for the animal rendering industry.
This new stage has been made possible following the signing of the bilateral Health Protocol in April 2023, followed by on-site audits carried out by the General Administration of Customs of China (GACC), and the finalization of the health certificate model agreed upon by the competent authorities of both countries.

China continues to be the main destination for Brazilian agricultural exports. In 2024, it imported more than US$49.6 billion in Brazilian agricultural products. Specifically, in the offal meal segment, which now includes poultry and pork meals, purchases reached more than US$304 million for the year.
