Austria will be able to export pork to China

Minister Han Changfu welcomed the signing of the Protocol that will allow the export of pork from Austria to China.

A meeting between China's and Austria's Ministers of Agriculture, Han Changfu and Andrä Rupprechter, respectively, took place last March 30.

During the meeting, with the aim of improving the implementation of the memorandum of understanding on agricultural cooperation between the two countries, the Chinese Minister Han Changfu proposed to establish a joint working group and to draw up internal rules, in order to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of the Working Group.

On the other hand, Minister Han Changfu welcomed the signing of the Protocol that will allow the export of pork from Austria to China. The Chinese Minister hopes that both sides will reinforce technical cooperation and promote trade of products of animal origin in order to diversify market opportunities for both countries.
