
Pig slaughter in the first half of the last five years. Prepared by 333 Latin America with data from the Secretariat of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries of the Ministry of Economy of Argentina.
At the end of the first half of 2025, pig slaughter reached 4,063,643 head, an increase of 2.0% compared to the same period of 2024.

By province, results indicate that Buenos Aires accounted for 49.5% of the slaughter, with 2,013,424 head, while Santa Fe and Córdoba accounted for 18.2% and 17.0%, respectively.
In June, 675,695 head were slaughtered, a 1.9% increase from the same month of the previous year, although 5.8% below the May total.
