logoMinitube, a global leader in assisted reproduction technology, is setting the course for the future: At the end of 2025, the second generation of the Simmet family will hand over the management of the
company to a new executive board.

After decades of successful leadership, Dr. Christian Simmet (CEO), Christa Simmet (CCO), and Rudolf Simmet (COO) are retiring – leaving behind a strong foundation. Under their leadership, Minitube has developed from a family business with regional roots into an internationally successful group of companies with ten subsidiaries and over 400 employees.

“It has always been important to us to continue the values and innovative spirit of our founder, Dr. Ludwig Simmet. Today, we are handing over a stable, healthy, and future-proof company,” emphasize Dr. Christian Simmet and Rudolf Simmet.

New Executive Board from 2026: Continuity and fresh perspectives

On January 1, 2026, a newly formed Executive Board will take over the global management of Minitube International. For the first time in the company's history, family management at the executive level will be supplemented by experienced external managers – a combination that offers both continuity and new impulses.

  • Katharina Rohrmüller (CEO): CFO of the company since 2020, overall responsibility at the helm of the group
  • Dr. Kilian Simmet (CTO): Research and Development, Product Management
  • Thomas Schultze (COO): Operations, Supply Chain Management
  • Wolfram Veitl (CCO): Market Development, Marketing, Sales

All four members of the Executive Board bring with them many years of experience, a high level of expertise, and a clear vision for the future.

Preserving the tried and tested, shaping the new

The future Executive Board will continue to develop Minitube on the strong foundation of its family tradition. The focus will remain on the highest product quality, innovative strength, sustainable action, and trusted partnerships with customers and business partners worldwide. This will bring new ideas and a fresh impetus that will pave the way for Minitube to remain a global pioneer and reliable partner in the coming decades.

“The future of Minitube is in the very best hands. Thanks to the unique combination of excellent expertise in all board positions and the family's continued commitment to the company, Minitube will continue on its successful path,” emphasizes Christa Simmet.
