Matthias Hofer appointed as managing partner of Stonehaven Consulting

With over 15 years of experience in animal health, Matthias Hofer is delighted to lead Stonehaven.

Matthias Hofer has been appointed as Managing Partner of Stonehaven Consulting AG, taking over leadership of the company from George Gunn.

Matthias was formerly a Partner and has over 15 years of experience in the animal health sector. He served on the executive committees of two major animal health companies prior to joining Stonehaven Consulting.

George Gunn, founder of Stonehaven Consulting and former CEO, said: “Matthias is a business leader with broad international experience and particular strengths in sales, strategy and execution. It was a natural progression for him to become Managing Partner of Stonehaven Consulting as he’s been heavily involved in running the company since its inception.”

Matthias Hofer added: “I’m delighted to have this opportunity to lead Stonehaven Consulting as we move into the new decade. We can expect to see many exciting developments in the life science sector over the next 10 years and Stonehaven Consulting will be here to help business make the most of the opportunities.”

Between 2009 and 2013 Matthias led the global Aqua Health business at Novartis Animal Health (NAH). He was later the Global Leader Emerging Business at Elanco and a member of Elanco’s global executive committee.
