logoMichaela Braun is changing teams at NOVUS. Since 2023 she has worked as the company’s Senior Liquid Systems & Sales Specialist but recently started a new role as Swine Sales Manager.

“I’ve really enjoyed working with the Swine Team since I came to NOVUS three years ago. When the opportunity to join the group presented itself, I knew I had to do it,” Braun says.

2Effective March 1, Braun is helping swine customers in the Midwest United States, bringing intelligent nutrition to their sow, nursery and grow-finish farms.

Braun says her experience providing technical support to feed mills means she can deliver a different perspective to swine producers and nutritionists.

“The swine industry works with a lot of toll mills. Understanding those logistics, being able to make connections and serve as a liaison can absolutely help our swine customers,” she says.

NOVUS Swine Regional Sales Manager Eric Sanny says adding Braun to the team was a welcome and logical next step in her career at NOVUS.

“Many folks who work at NOVUS want to spend their entire career here. Michaela is a perfect example of how we try to make that happen for our colleagues,” he says. “She was looking for a new challenge; we are fortunate to have a position open that suited her and now we get to build on her already extensive expertise.”

Braun started her career at NOVUS in 2023. She was responsible for maintaining the application systems at customer sites for liquid methionine source ALIMET® Feed Additive. She also provided feed milling technical support to the dairy and monogastric sales teams in the United States and Canada.

Prior to joining NOVUS, she worked as a feed manufacturing consultant with NutriQuest Manufacturing Services and managed the Feed Technology Center at the University of Illinois. She earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Feed Science and Management at Kansas State University.
