The 17th European Symposium of Porcine Health Management (ESPHM 2026) will be held on 13–15 May 2026 at the Fortezza da Basso in Florence, Italy. The event, organized in collaboration with the European College of Porcine Health Management (ECPHM), the Local Organizing Committee and the Veterinary Practitioners Council, is expected to attract the porcine health management community from across Europe and beyond.
The central theme of ESPHM 2026 will be innovation, addressed across the different sectors of pig production. Topics will include herd health management, disease prevention, welfare, nutrition, sustainability and the use of data-driven and precision livestock farming approaches.

According to the programme, keynote lectures will cover innovation in the pig sector, precision livestock farming and artificial intelligence, alongside parallel scientific sessions on infectious diseases, reproduction, welfare and nutrition.
