Polytechnic University of Madrid (PUM) - Spain AuthorShe holds a Ph.D. in Agriculture Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Madrid (PUM) and she is a professor at the PUM's Department of Agricultural Production, at the ETSIAAB (Agricultural Engineering, Food and Biosystems Higher Technical School). Before joining the university, she worked in the private sector, and since 1993 she participates and collaborates with the FEDNA (Spanish Foundation for the Development of Animal Nutrition). She is the co-author of the FEDNA charts of ingredients for feed (1999, 2003 y 2010), and she is in charge of the development and the contents of her webpage. Her main research fields are related to the assessment and evaluation of ingredients for animal nutrition, the technological improvements in the quality and production processes of feed, the design and development of functional foods, and the applications of the NIRS technology in the agri-food sector.
