Responsible for diagnostic activities (serology, virology, and molecular biology) related to the diagnosis of veterinary viral diseases.
• April 1, 2004 to December 31, 2011: Senior biologist in the National Reference Centers area at the Istituto Zooprofilattico Sperimentale dell'Umbria e delle Marche “Togo Rosati” (IZSUM), Italy. Participation in diagnostic activities (serology, virology, and molecular biology) related to the diagnosis of veterinary viral diseases and research on swine fever, pestivirus, and lentivirus in small ruminants.
• April 1, 1995 to April 1, 2004: Biologist in institutional and research activities at the National Reference Laboratory for Swine Fever and Lentivirus in Small Ruminants at the Istituto Zooprofilattico Sperimentale dell'Umbria e delle Marche “Togo Rosati” (IZSUM), with a focus on molecular biology and bioinformatics.
• November 1, 1994, to March 31, 1995: Self-employed, coordinated, and continuous employment contract at the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery for theoretical and practical teaching and tutoring in Histology and General Embryology.
• November 1, 1991 to October 31, 1994: PhD in research at the Institute of Histology and General Embryology, Department of Experimental Medicine and Biochemical Sciences, University of Perugia.
