Mateusz Malik

Mateusz Malik is a veterinarian specializing in swine health, currently practicing in central Poland. He earned his Master’s in Veterinary Medicine from the Warsaw University of Life Sciences (SGGW), with clinical training completed at the University of Veterinary Medicine Hannover (TiHo). In 2024, he defended his PhD thesis, "Porcine Ear Necrosis: Decoding the Enigma," at Ghent University in Belgium, where he also completed a residency in the European College of Porcine Health Management (ECPHM).

Dr. Malik’s research focuses on the pathogenesis and management of ear necrosis, a topic he has presented at numerous international symposia. He is a prolific author, contributing to several peer-reviewed studies on porcine health and welfare. His professional background includes clinical experience across Poland, Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. Beyond his clinical work, Dr. Malik is a co-founder of an business dedicated to biosecurity and hygiene solutions in livestock farming.
