Centro Ricerche Produzioni Animali (CRPA) - Italy AuthorMaria Teresa Pacchioli is an agronomist and researcher at CRPA S.c.p.A. since 1993, now
with responsibility for the livestock farming area. She has always worked on innovation, in
animal feeding and along the production chain, with focus on quality and a low
environmental impact. She participates in national and international research and
demonstration projects aimed at sustainable production. She has been responsible for
LIFE and H2020 projects and several Operational Groups for Innovation in Agriculture.
Active on dissemination through technical and scientific articles, she lectures for university
and professional training in Italy and abroad. In 2005, she received the international 'Porco
Bravo' prize, awarded to researchers who make a special contribution to the development
of the pig sector in Europe.
