Luísa Zanolli Moreno

Veterinarian graduated from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Science at the University of São Paulo. Holds a Master’s degree in Public Health Services from the Graduate Program in Public Health at the USP School of Public Health. Earned a PhD in Experimental Epidemiology Applied to Zoonoses from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Science at the University of São Paulo. Her research focuses on microbiology, molecular biology, bacterial agent genotyping, sequencing, bioinformatics, epidemiology, and public health.

She served as an adjunct professor at the Max Planck University Center (UniMax) from August 2017 to December 2021, teaching in the undergraduate programs of Biomedicine, Pharmacy, and Veterinary Medicine.

She was also a collaborating professor in the PART program for the undergraduate Veterinary Medicine course at FMVZ-USP, together with the Department of Preventive Veterinary Medicine and Animal Health, from March 2020 to December 2021.

From December 2021 to December 2022, she held the position of supervisor of the Diagnostic Laboratory at Phibro Animal Health Corporation in the Autogenous Vaccines division. She was responsible for the development (design and structuring) and implementation of the Diagnostic Laboratory for the Autogenous Vaccines area, comprising bacteriology, virology, and molecular biology sections.

She has worked as a researcher and technical advisor at the Swine Health Laboratory / Molecular Epidemiology and Antimicrobial Resistance Laboratory of the Department of Preventive Veterinary Medicine and Animal Health at FMVZ-USP.

She is currently an adjunct professor at the Department of Pathology, Reproduction, and One Health at FCAV–UNESP–Jaboticabal, where she works on veterinary microbiology, infectious diseases, and genomic epidemiology of bacterial diseases.
