Luciano Hauschild has a degree in Zootechnics from the Federal University of Santa Maria (UFSM) and a master's degree in Zootechnics from the same institution. He completed a PhD in Animal Science at UFSM, part of which he did at the Dairy and Swine Research and Development Centre Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada. He has a post-doctorate in Animal Science from Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho, Câmpus Jaboticabal and Copenhagen University (Copenhagen, Denmark). He is currently a Professor at the Faculty of Agricultural and Veterinary Sciences, UNESP Jaboticabal Campus.
