Gunner Sørensen

Since 1988, Gunner Sørensen has worked as Senior Scientist in Livestock Innovation, SEGES Innovation in the areas of nutrition and reproduction. SEGES Innovation conducts multiple trials on pig farms and the results are subsequently published on SEGES website. In addition, several activities are aimed at implementing new knowledge on Danish pig farms and in the Danish feed industry. Furthermore, collaborations between SEGES Innovation and Danish universities generate several peer reviewed publications. Professional lectures are given on a regular basis in Denmark as well as abroad on topics primarily concerning “the Danish model” where we conduct trials on commercial pig farms and implementation of new knowledge to improve the productivity.
