With that end we have reached an agreement with professor Tomasz Stadejek. Tomasz is a teacher in the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at the Warsaw University of Life Sciences. His task is focused on the diagnosis, epidemiology and control of the porcine viral pathologies. His current investigation is concentrated on the evolution and the genetic and antigenic diversity of the European genotype of the PRRS virus and its impact on the sensitivity and specificity of the diagnosis methods and on the efficacy of the methods for the control of the disease.
Poland is the fourth European swine producer, and in year 2011 it had an estimated census of 13,056,000 pigs (the 8.8% of the European census). With this inclusion of Poland into the 333 group we expand our offer with the intention of consolidating ourselves as the swine information reference webpage. Our expansion wants to be global, but also local, with respect to the languages and the production systems.
