Earlier this month, telephone negotiations were held between Deputy Head of the Rosselkhoznadzor Yevgeny Nepoklonov and Bi Kexin, Deputy Director of the Bureau of Import & Export Food Safety of AQSIQ. The consultations were focused on organization of meetings and to Protocol that would be singed the following week in Beijing after the meeting of the joint working group on safety of animal products during mutual supplies. In addition to it, an agreement was achieved on the coming visit of the Rosselkhoznadzor delegation with the purpose to survey pork exports to Russia from two meat processing plants of the Heilongjiang County.
Starting on September 16, 2014 the Rosselkhoznadzor is sending two specialists to China for expert assessment of compliance of regulated animal products intended for export to the Russian Federation with animal health requirements of Russia and the Customs Union.
