Farrow-to-finish system

This kind of rearing is that in which the animals enter and exit a same room/premises, and the room is never empty. With this kind of rearing, the diseases that may develop in some of the batches will remain in the farm forever, because the disease will be transmitted to the following batches of pigs.

Also, this rearing system does not allow a correct cleaning and disinfection of the premises, because there will always be animals present. This kind of rearing system is not recommendable: we must use an All-in-all-out rearing system.
