Electric fence

It is a kind of fence that is normally used in the outdoor (camping) rearing system farms in order to delimit the areas and plots of land. They receive this name because an electric pulse travels along the wire, and this causes the animals to receive a slight electric shock that avoids that they leave the demarcated area. This system is very useful and its appearance caused a revolution in the outdoor rearing systems. It allows the fencing of a plot of land in a very quick and easy way, apart from being a cheaper system, and it allows the relocation of the ‘camping’ without too many problems. The sows also learn quickly not to cross the electric wire.
