Diagnosis

Clinical examination: lice are large and easily visualized especially in the neck, flank, and in the inner parts of the legs.



Control/Prevention

  • Lice are susceptible to many insecticides.
  • The use of insecticides requires a second application in 10-20 days to break the production cycle.
