Philippine pork imports increased in 2025

Pork imports increased by 16%, with Brazil as the main supplier.

In 2025, the Philippines' pork imports increased by 16%, reaching a total of 851.76 million kg according to data from the Bureau of Animal Industry (BAI). Of this volume, 42% was pork cuts, and 31% was offal.

Brazil was the main supplier of pork to the Philippines in 2025, representing 40% of the market share. Its pork exports to the Philippines increased by 60% compared to 2024. Canada followed with 9% of the market share, its export volume to the Philippines decreasing 16% year-on-year.
