Manitoba Agriculture has announced several new funding opportunities available under the Sustainable Agriculture Manitoba (SAM) program.
Funding is available to producers to implement cost-shared beneficial management practices that increase the environmental and economic sustainability of agriculture operations in Manitoba.
For 2026-2027, SAM is offering eleven beneficial management practices under three funding streams:
- Cropland Management (including reduced pesticide use up to $55,000)
- Manure & Livestock Management (including improved manure management equipment up to $430,000)
- Water Management (including improved water use efficiency up to $55,000)
Please note that applications must be received by January 5, 2026.
